Many Senior Club sides go decades without a significant International Tour. The Westmont College RFC made it a reality in 1997 in only their fourth year of competition. Highlights included three days in Waverly with host families, Bungee jumping, Maori cultural experiences in Rotarua , jet boating as well as a trip to see top Southern Hemisphere teams, Queensland Super 12 vs Auckland Blues.
